New Year is the time of day at which a new calendar year begins and the calendar's year count increments by one. Many cultures celebrate the event in some manner, and the 1st day of January is often marked as a holiday. However, El Toro staff gathered to their factory located in Chilaw in the morning to celebrate the first day of 2020. The event started with blessings and prayers by Reverend Father Saman Kithsiri from Mangala Eliya Church. Towards the end, the company arranged refreshments for all participants.
